About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Dance across the world.
ABOUT ME
I treasure curiosity and adore knowledge. I cherish the will and seek mastery.
My greatest fear is incompetence…
I worship and accept change as my only constant.
I therefore dream large, and thirst for new experiences. My traveling style is usually:
No plan. No clue. Lots of falling in love with the unexpected.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
So far, I have only surfed once before, in Shenzhen, China, through Couchsurfing.org. I'm no stranger to couches and surfing couches in general however, but I am excited to get more involved with Couchsurfing.org. When I finally settle down somewhere and have a couch of my own, I hope to host as well, as I know some people who host regularly, and it is not difficult to see why it would be an immensely enjoyable way to meet interesting and courageous globetrotters!
Interests
Salsa! International Latin ballroom! Argentine tango as well. Want to get into more ballet and waltzing (standard dances)! I really love trying out most any kind of dancing - I want to learn flamenco in Spain, samba in Brazil, kizomba in Angola! I love learning new languages (or trying to). In fact, these are some of the things I'd love to collect whilst traveling: I want to collect dances and languages. I also love: Music. Design. Neurobiology documentaries. Horseback riding. Opera. Ballet and theatre. Learning new sports. Training myself to become a warrior. Acting, writing, and being.
However, my main interest is learning and trying new things. (I cannot easily say that without sounding cheesy at worst, nerdy at best.) I spend much of my time trying or learning new skills/activities, and spend my downtime listening to online lectures, Ted talks, or documentaries. Some of the most recent activities I've been working on include capoeira, archery, and acting.
I hope, very soon, to be able to find a gym in the Philippines where I can learn a bit of Arnis/Eskrima/Kali, and a gym in Myanmar to learn some lethwei!!!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Sailing. Perching myself at the bow of any seaborne vehicle, edging ever closer to the water.... that usually leaves me either awestruck or very relaxed, depending.
Being airborne (other than by commercial aircraft). I haven't had the pleasure to experience this very often, but the few rare times I had (paragliding, bungee jumping) I LOVED it. I can't say that these things are "amazing" in general (they're pretty common), but I can say that these experiences felt amazing to me at the time. I would love to seek out more opportunities and different methods of hurtling my body through the open air! =D
Teach, Learn, Share
Teach:
I can teach you to dance salsa dance in no time!
If interested, I can also teach you to speak Korean or English.
These three things, I am particularly confident in teaching, because I do so professionally. However, if there is anything else I might be able to teach, I will definitely try my best =)
Learn:
ANYTHING!
I'm especially keen on learning languages and dances. I am ALWAYS open (and eager) to learning new dances, or other forms of expressive movement. Physical activities excite me immensely! Have always dreamed of learning to surf! Martial arts and archery are among my newest interests! I want to learn to be more handy; to learn to make things, create things out of resin or wood or metal.
I can list things I'd like to learn all day long. Anything to do with arts/music. Anything dance-related! Anything at all!
Share: Good times and good ideas =)
