ABOUT ME

I'm pragmatic, adventurous and unorthodox. I have a positive outlook in life and I also want others to see the brighter side of life.

The travel bug had bitten me even before I started to walk as I took a one way ticket from Nice, France to Manila when I was only an infant. Since then, I've called the Philippines home while considering myself a citizen of the world. I started backpacking without my parents' permission (risky! haha) when I was 16 years old. I took a flight to the Philippines' Bicol region, exploring the cities of Legazpi and Naga. I was unstoppable from that point on as I've backpacked even outside Asia (riskier! haha).

I subscribe to the belief that traveling is the only thing that you spend on that makes you richer. It's a kind of wealth that's indescribable, not easily quantifiable and priceless.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I'm very new here in couchsurfing but I'd to be active. Though I've had the experience of sleeping in my foreign friends' homes even before I've coined the term, Couchsurfing. I'm absolutely thankful to have met genuine friends here in CS, from the Philippines and other parts of the globe.

This is more than a site, it's a community bound by a passion for exploration and the spirit of sharing. Those values are what I personally imbibe and will share to everyone here. I'd be glad to meet YOU, yes, YOU my fellow couchsurfer. Let's tread on a journey toward creation and leave the world better than how we found it.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Even before couchsurfing, I have been hosted by other people in other countries. Particularly in Indonesia where I stayed there for a week with the company of my friends from ASEAN youth friendship network and their families who welcomed me warmly into their homes. :)
