ABOUT ME

I consider myself a kind, compassionate and thoughtful person, that loves to have fun and meet new people. I am easy-going, open-minded and can get along with pretty much anyone. I love learning as much as I can about everything I don't understand (which is a lot) and also like to share my personal experiences and thoughts with others who are interested. I love travelling, seeing the world, meeting people and hope I will never have to grow up!

By extending my friendly and positive personality to meet people and share experiences. When I have a place of my own, I will gladly offer my couch to anyone interested.

I am new to this, but eager to create many wonderful experiences...
I have surfed couches in Europe and have hosted surfers in Canada

Interessi

I study exercise science so my biggest interest are health and well-being. I am a big-time runner who loves the outdoors and generally enjoys most sports, especially ice hockey, football(soccer), tennis and sports that generally require little skill, like ping-pong, croquet and figure skating (just kidding...figure skating requires tonnes of skills). Curling is also cool and super Canadian!
I enjoy travelling the world and exploring new and exciting cultures. Languages fascinate me, but I am no good at them!

Climbing mountains in the Swiss Alps, Cinque Terre in Italy, Being in Switzerland for the 2008 European Championships, Amsterdam for the World Cup Final in 2010 (we lost!). Every city I've visited and every place I've been has unique and special features that makes it worth seeing...

Insegna, impara, condividi

I am a 'knower' of many useless facts and knowledge, which makes me an invaluable tool for the weekly Pub Quiz. I am by no means an expert on any subject but have my share of opinions and consider myself knowledgeable and by no means ignorant. I believe that one can learn much more by listening than by speaking and I only comment if I am certain of myself. I have many experiences and adventures I am willing to share and am eager to learn from everyone around me. I love talking about travel and can't wait to discover the next place awaiting for me to discover.
