I am a poet, performance artist, literary scholar, literary translator, and traveler with camera. I love to travel physically, mentally, and culinary, meet new people and share the wonderful energy of thankfulness for the privilege of travelling and enjoying this planet and world right now.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Well, I even before couchsurfing I surfed some couches without any digital help... the best was probably the one of that Italian couple in Mexico who had this big villa and a Pizzetería shop ;)

With couchsurfing I surfed a wonderful couch in 2007 in Germany and in 2009 two couches in the Caribbean, in Martinique as well as some years later an interesting couch in Scotland.

All my hosting experiences on and off couchsurfing have been very positive and I continue to consider this one of the best ways to travel globally with local involvement.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I am thankful for every single moment of wonder and concentrated experience. Life is a blessing. Especially if you sleep in a hammock in the Amazon rain forest or under the stars above the tree line in the central Alps.
