About Me

Hey! I like harmonicas and science things. I also enjoy actin a fool and being in the sun or bodies of water (at the same time or separately). I really like learning new things and finding out about new cultures and different perspectives. I'm generally really upbeat and outgoing and like meeting new people.

I grew up in Beirut, Lebanon and went to college at the University of Texas at Austin where I just graduated from. I lived in a living coop in Austin with 19 other people -- it was awesome.

I move to Washington, DC in August to work for an engineering consulting company in the renewable energy industry.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'll be spending some time hoping around California this July and need cool people to hang out with and a place to stay. I found out about couchsurfing when we started hosting couchsurfers at the coop I lived in in Austin -- it was always a great experience for us to host interesting people.

Music, Movies, and Books

The Roots, Kendrick Lamar, George Smith, Little Walter, Massive Attack, Pink Floyd, Outkast, A Tribe Called Quest, The Coup, Dead Prez

I like pretty much anything to do with time travel
I don't really have favorites in general. I also don't really read fiction; mainly because I don't know what's going on half the time.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

This one time when I was like 7, I stepped in a fire ant mound and didn't get bit a single time

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm down to give a harmonica lesson or two! Most people have a cheap harp lying around anyway
I can make some pretty badass Lebanese food

What I Can Share with Hosts

Good times, harmonica accompaniment if you play guitar or piano, harmonica tunes by a camp fire, discussions on engineering and science topics, friendship
