About Me
Currently traveling.
I'm currently a student but still a little bit undecided about my major and my goal is to set foot on all of the continents in the world even Antarctica!
My profile picture on here is from two yrs ago. I don't have any current pictures on my laptop but I look a bit different know. Just imagine me with bright blue hair haha
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I love to connect with people from different nationalities and especially hear their stories. It's also great to experience how they feel about their city as it's always better to get to know a place from a local than a boring guidebook. Not that it's not funny to explore cities on my own. Sometimes just a bit tedious because it can be a hit and a miss. I always think that in order to get to know a place thoroughly, you need to visit it a few times preferably during different seasons. A place feels more like home when you have friends there to reconnect again and again.
Interests
My interests lie in different sorts of fields. I might not know a shit ton of load about one specific topic but I'm always keen on getting to understand and know everything.
Whenever I'm new to the city I try to see as much art museums as possible or even if there's a good movie playing in the cinema I have to see it. Preferably in original with subtitles. I don't really like commercial cinemas where they all synchronize the movies. There is always something going missing along the way when they translate it. The cinema or the local museum are also places you can catch me when I'm back home. My favourite movie from 2018 is 'Under The Silverlake'.
Oh and whenever my money allows me to I love going to concerts. Closing your eyes during a concert in the middle of a crowd should definitely be a thing and if you have never done it before: try it out, you won't regret it! (Unless you're a bit claustrophobic, then it's not a good idea ;))
Last but not least: love me some gooood comfort food. I'm always keen on trying out local stuff. I'd rather spend my whole travel money on food than on some cheesy souvenir. Food is a part of culture and should be part of every travel experience. I don't really get people who travel far away but stay true to the food they know from back home.
