About Me

CURRENT MISSION

See as much of the world as i can manage and meet as many people as i can

ABOUT ME

The thing i find the most important in my life is the ability to entertain others.
I would like to follow my nose through as much of the world as i possibly can though I am not a rich man so my travels might be limited by my ability to find accommodations.
I believe that to truly appreciate a culture one must immerse themselves in it for a certain amount of time. As such i wish to stay in most of the places i visit for as long as possible before letting the wind snatch me along once more.

PHILOSOPHY

Living without laughter is like breathing without oxygen.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

The only things i can offer right now are the ability to smile and brighten someone's day a little bit and of course i am more than willing to help with any chores that might require an extra pair of hands. I absolutely love meeting new people and hope to make as many connections as i can through my travels. I am completely new to this community so im uncertain how to help it grow. I hope to run around the globe for a little while so i can certainly help people understand what other places i have visited are like. It might not be much but until i understand more about this experience its the best i can do.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

The only couchsurfing i have ever done involved letting friends of mine stay in my home until they were able to get on their feet again or spending time on another persons couch while i ran around canada for a while. The best experiences i have ever had were the unexpected ones.

Music, Movies, and Books

Im a big fan of anything with the fantasy/sci-fi stamp on it. My current favorite authors are Neil Gaiman (ever since the Sandman graphic novels) and Steven Erikson. As for music i happen to be a metal head with a big drive towards powerful guitars and heavy drums. A list might take a while to compile especially since i also like blues, jazz, classical and classic rock with a nod to trance and good house music.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Survived a 120km-hr crash face first into a wall while wearing no safety belt in the front passenger seat.

Teach, Learn, Share

One thing i want to be able to share is the ability to find joy in the most unlikely places. I have always been a big defender of the ability to smile no matter what life throws at us and I have been told that my humor can be contagious. I believe we all have the ability to share emotions but it is a skill that has been going out of practice in recent years. I think we all need to practice our empathy before we all start to lose it.
