Overview
About Me
Hey couch surfers,
I'm Danya, a spontaneous and adventurous dreamer currently living and working in Paris.
I'm a very malleable person and tend to adapt quite easily to my surroundings and the vibes of other people. I love languages (even though I can only properly speak 2) and learning about almost any topic. I'm curious and I love listening to people's stories and hearing how they experience this beautiful thing we call life.
I could tell you about my hobbies, my studies and all the places I've travelled or we can meet and I can share it with you in person ;)
Looking forward to perhaps crossing paths!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I think couchsurfing is a great way to meet others and to get a local perspective on cities and places that you visit. I really like to speak with people of different cultures and, in doing so, to open my mind to different ways of understanding and living.
Interests
I love cooking, slacklining, snowboarding, drawing, painting, yoga, listening to music, eating healthy, being informed about world politics and environmental issues, playing cards and just hanging out.

Music, Movies, and Books
My music taste depends on my mood and the phase of my life. Currently I've been listening to a lot of blues, funk, electro influenced by funk, and psychedelic rock but an all time favorite band of mine is fleet foxes :)
Movies.. there are far too many to name but the first that came to mind was Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind
I have to admit I don't read all that often but I do enjoy a good book from time to time, here are a few: Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas; Brave New World; 1984; The Jungle
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I spent 5 months in Aceh, Indonesia (the very north of Sumatra), researching environmental politics while interning at a local NGO.
Teach, Learn, Share
Listen, be positive, and don't be afraid to admit when you are wrong.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can share my healthy cooking, some cool music and a good chat.
