Kia Ora I'm Dana
I was born in Korea, moved to NZ at the age of 13 and spent most of my kiwi life in NZ's best city Dunedin :)
I'm a Fine Arts graduate and a museum worker who's now living and working in Auckland after completing a 2 year working holiday in the UK.
Although I'm back home now (or for now), I'd like to keep my wonderlust alive by doing kiwi adventures and interacting with people from different backgrounds.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I joined CS back in 2007 when I was a travel newbie. I met many interesting travellers while I was working at an orchard in Central Otago during my summer break and one of them introduced me to CS. I was immediately drawn to the idea. Since then Ive been to several meet ups, couchsurfed in Seoul, Singapore, France and hosted a few surfers in Dunedin and Hamilton NZ.

Interests

I have a great passion for music and art. I love seeing other people's work (ie. going to exhibitions, concerts, film festivals etc) as much as making my own.
While I have absolutely no talent for sports I've taken various dance classes (Hiphop, Salsa, Swing, African, Balinese, Nia...) and done many hiking trips in and outside of New Zealand. I love being out in the nature and my tree-hugging moments :)
