About Me
CURRENT MISSION
accomplishing the things which are still waiting
ABOUT ME
READ CAREFULLY before asking me to host you, please!!!!
and, if we invite you to stay with us, do let us know whether you have dietary restrictions
****************************************************
we absolutely must have your request for overnight hospitality TWO WEEKS IN ADVANCE! Only after our confirmation can we exchange details.
VERY IMPORTANT: you must reconfirm two days before your intended arrival, otherwise our invitation is cancelled. No-shows do not belong into hospex organizations!
No One-nighters are welcome!
We have a guestroom which will accommodate TWO folks who are willing to share the double bed.
And please note: we do NOT accept one nighters. That precludes getting to know each other, exchanging experiences and information. We are NOT the free hotel for x many of you starting tonight or tomorrow either! And if you are accompanied by another person, we need to see her/his profile on either CS or HC or BW as well. We don't want to host nameless strangers...
We don't host folks who have to leave before 7 am.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
More than one.......
1) hiked the entire Appalachian Trail in one season 1984
2) spent half a year on Tristan da Cunha, South
Atlantic, the most remote island ever, 2000-2001
3) over the years, I have taught folk dancing to more
than 5,000 people during my travels
Teach, Learn, Share
I know more dances from all over the world than you can shake a fist at - and LOVE to share the joy. Much of my traveling has been dance-teaching related.
As a forever-student of textiles I can teach many textile crafts - beyond knitting, crocheting, sewing, embroidering etc.
I'm an organic gardener...
What I Can Share with Hosts
stories from my travels, cook an interesting meal, share a craft or a song - or plant a hedge (as I did with my most recent hosts in B)
