About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To connect with the energies of the world and gravitate towards the positive vibrations I seek to reflect in myself.

ABOUT ME

I was born and raised in New Orleans area. I'm the baby of the 3 brothers (all four years apart). My momma beat my ass.(Thank you Mom) I was a precocious and care-free child that grew up in a loving, nurturing home. Brought up with a sense of family, acceptance, and heart. Was raised to be a gentlemen. And, I DO have a romantic's way with words.

Played basketball, football, and music (sax). I fiddle around with harmonica and flute now too. I love Funk & Blues as well as comedy. I am a thinker and have always been deep and philosophical. I enjoy the thrill of the unknown and seek to define my observations of existence.

I'm easy-going and laugh a lot. I definitely maintain perspective and have a great sense of self. I appreciate the wisdom of the Tao and any other aspects that help gain a glimpse of our reality. I enjoy developing the energies of ourselves and the interrelated connection we have to all things.

PHILOSOPHY

We are all instinctual energy temporarily gathered in a recognizable form. Our senses sometimes overcome our natural ability to feel truths:
We Feel it.
Then, you Think it.
And, you Say it;
So, we Know it.
But we already knew it because we felt it.

Why we exist is as irrelevant as determining if we exist. The essence to ourselves is HOW we exist.

We are but a reflection of the people we surround ourselves with.

The only thing to hate is hatred.

Everyone one has a Unique Perspective; so, Having a Unique Perspective doesn't make you Unique.

An object's inanimatcy is merely the observer's ability to see it's action.

All consensual crime should be legal. Government is supposed to protect me from others not protect me from myself.

Everyone has a Utopia - some just have theirs' more fully developed.

Allow everyone the right to believe their way - even if it is fundamentally flawed. Accept their right to have that view and assist them to open their mind - not to reach yours - but to find more about the essence of who they are.

When you dislike people, you're just identifying the characteristics you don't appreciate within yourself.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Well, now that I've had a CS experience, I can tell you about it.

I'm a relative noob to CS; just utilized its services for traveling out West. I can tell you; if all Couchsurfing experiences were as awesome as I encountered on this trip, this is the start of a beautiful friendship.

After tire troubles and arriving later than expected, my first host just left the door open for me to come in at 3:00 in the morning. The next morning we woke up and cooked breakfast, hung out, and shared music. They went to class and left me there. Since I couldn't lock the door, I waited for them to come back and got to hang out with them and have them show me the town.

I journey on to my second location where I arrived and met my host at the hookah bar she worked at. After work, we picked up some local brews and went back to the house where we told jokes and laughed and played all night. Woke up, cooked breakfast, and hung out - discussing the depths of existence and the universal harmony that is.

So far, the people I've encountered have felt like family, as if I've known them all my life. It's great that this site exists and have, for the most part, been able to be frequented by really cool, chill, easy-going people. Thank You couchsurf and all the people here for existing.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I initiated and directed the search and rescue for St. Bernard Parish during Katrina from my home in Morehead, KY. I contacted the US Coast Guard, re-established the communication bridge to St. Bernard, collected addresses from where people were stuck, converted them to GPS coordinates, and emailed them to the National Guard pilots flying over St. Bernard rescuing people.
No one will every be able to convince me that one person can't change things!

I met Al Bielek.

I got to go to Green Bay to do a Lithograph signing with Brett Favre.

I played on Bourbon Street and the House of Blues in New Orleans.

I've had supernatural experiences - Phenomena is a common, everyday occurrence.
