Overview
About Me
I'm a History graduate student who's not happy learning only with our great thinkers. My favorite place is wherever I'm out of the classroom, learning and at the same time teaching (since I believe that relation is totally mutual) while I see, feel, witness things that are still strange to me, which I'm really curious to understand.
But if there's one thing I can say about me, it is this:
People say they're dog lovers but they dont know a thing.
Because. I'm. the. real. deal.
Everytime I see a doggy, I try to pet it.
The only pages Ive liked on facebook are dog related ones.
My instagram (@daphinylisboa) is filled with doggy profiles.
That's about it.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I enjoy listening to people who are really different from me, because I feel that relationship exchange is responsible for my true learning.
Besides that, I really enjoy talking and I guess my friends are already fed up with me.

Music, Movies, and Books
My favorite film genre is musicals! If you wanna bond with me, invite me for a karaoke night and a High School Musical duet. Damn, I'm sold!
Besides that, I'm into almost every single type of music, but I gotta say I'm still pretty much emo at heart.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I helped my students get where they wanted to get.
I struggled so I could be where I wanted to be.
That's amazing enough for a 21 year old, right?
Eh.. Idk
Teach, Learn, Share
I've still got a lot to learn. I mean, I'm only 21.
I'd love to know more languages. To have some mad guitar skills, since Im pretty dull at it.
It's kinda hard to think about what I can share with others. As a teacher, I always find myself thinking that my students are most likely teaching me way more stuff than I teach them. But I guess I'm pretty good at teaching Portuguese, I know a little bit about cooking and I make some gooooooood cake.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can share some knowledge about Brazil, History, Literature;
And Im totally down to cook!
