Brief life summary: I grew up in sunny Southern California not too far from Disneyland (I LOVE Disneyland) and then went to college in Northern California to study Recreational Therapy. After graduating, I moved to San Diego, CA to work full time at a "Big Girl" job in which I was a Recreational Therapist at one of California's State prisons for two years. I recently turned 25 and out of a little quarter life crisis decided to quit my job and travel before looking for a new job and settling down somewhere else.

What I love: I love being active and being outside! Activities I love include: running, yoga, rock climbing, biking, hiking, camping, spike ball, ultimate frisbee, and swimming. I also appreciate some good wine, art, and LOVE live music (I love indie folk music and EDM). I am not that musically talented but I can sing a little and enjoy playing my ukulele! I also LOVE to dance like no one is watching. I also have to mention my love for food because it is the way to my heart.

What I like to do: I like to spend time with friends and when I do we're usually on the beach, in the mountains, hiking, exploring, going to different food and art festivals, hanging at a coffee shop, or sipping wine at someones home. I also love meeting new people and learning about who they are and how they came to be that person. When I am alone I like to read (I like to read the Bible or books about spirituality and faith) or watch shows on the internet. Some of my favorite shows are: Game of Thrones, New Girl, Friends, Schitts Creek, and The Office.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To meet and get to know you of course! I am all about immersive experiences and learning about new cultures.

Traveling to me is like visiting different worlds and being able to experience these worlds in the homes of people who are apart of them is the BEST way to learn about it. I also am doing Couchsurfing because I really want to create meaningful and lasting friendships, and what better way to do that than with someone who opens up their home to you! Plus it would allow me to return the favor in the future if you are ever in California because I love to host friends!!

Music, Movies, and Books

Indie Alternative Music along with mellow EDM. I love all sorts of movies! Some of my favorites are: 500 Days of Summer, Breakfast at Tiffany's, Up, Salt, Mr. and Mrs. Smith, How to Lose a guy in 10 Days... and so many more!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Well I worked at a Prison for two years... I wouldn't describe it as amazing but the experience was definitely extraordinary!

Teach, Learn, Share

I am trying to learn Spanish because I am half white and half Filipino but I look Mexican so a lot of people will just come up to me and start speaking Spanish. I want to be able to play along!
I can play the ukulele and love to teach and share with people who enjoy the Uke!
I also know quite a few games since I am a Recreational Therapist.
