I'm just a gal trying to see the world and meet some good people as I go. I'm a recent graduate of the University of Maryland, where I studied journalism and women's studies, and now I'm an intern at Reporters Without Borders in Washington, D.C. After this I hope to pursue work in journalism or publishing. Regardless of what comes next, I look forward to the adventure.

I like to think that I'm pretty easy-going. I love to meet new people and learn about their lives. The way people from seemingly opposite worlds can connect never ceases to amaze me.

As someone who treasures human connection as much as I treasure an opportunity to travel, Couchsurfing is a safe and easy way to make connections in foreign places.
