PHILOSOPHY

To focus on living in a present moment, because just here and now we can change something. The past is already gone and the future is uncertain.

Helen Keller, american deaf-blind writer wrote: “The most pathetic person in the world is some one who has sight but no vision.”
I believe that this vision is hidden in our heart, so even if advice "follow your heart" seems to be silly and superficial I consider the deep sense in it. You can be happy just when you discover than the most important thing is to listen this voice you hear inside yourself, follow dreams and never give up.
We are living just once.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Coachsurfing gives me a possibility to share life with others, to be really in the middle of country, which I visit, to see it trough eyes people who are living in.
In my life I'm looking for inspirations and very often I can find it in people who I meet, who are able to show me their own point of view, sometimes different than mine. They help me to observe the world from different sides and get more complete view.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music movies, e.g. Krzysztof Preisner, Anette Focks, Agnes Obel - mainly some calm and melancholic melodies, but not all the time and not only.

European cinema, Krzysztof Kieślowki filmography.

My favourite writer is Nikos Kazantzakis with all his books, ("Zorba The Greek" is the most famous). I like also: John Steinbeck, C. S. Lewis, E. Hemingway, F. Pessoa.
I read also biographies (often I'm inspired by people), reportage (K. Kapuściński) and philosophy, psychology and theology books.
This kind of literature which help us to noticed something new, to find a different point of view and to broad our horizons.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I started hichhiking. My first experience was a trip to Strasburg.
I decided to partcipate in EVS programme.
