I am from Canada and was working as a physiotherapist. My partner and I had always had plans to travel for an extended time after graduating but Covid unfortunately made that look very different. After two years of working, we both took the leap, resigned from our respective jobs and are excited to explore for the next few months before finding a place to settle :).

I have travelled lots growing up and as a young adult and always find it helps re-center me and realize all the simple things in life I am grateful for. I enjoy running, cooking, listening to music, hiking, soccer and keen to try any sport!

Quick note: I am vaccinated and also eat vegan :).

A little bit about my partner: He is from Brazil but has lived in Canada for the last 6 years. He loves scuba diving, wildlife photography, the outdoors and sports as well.

We are both looking forward to some flexibility while traveling and hoping to have some unique experiences during our time off!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

My favorite travel memories always come back to sharing experiences with people in a new place! Although new to couch surfing, my partner and I love getting to make new connections with like minded people, learn about different ways of life and gain insights from locals. We have also hosted people on warm showers and had an enjoyable time with that!

Mostly listen to indie folk/acoustic but enjoy a bit of everything! More of a tv show watcher than the movie type! F.R.I.E.N.D.S will probably forever be my favorite TV show - (Derry Girls is a close second).
