I’m a grounded, curious human who appreciates meaningful conversations, cozy evenings, and a good laugh. I work as a massage therapist, so caring for bodies (and nervous systems) is a big part of my world. Outside of work, I love reading, being in nature, moving my body, and finding small moments of peace in everyday life.
I value honesty, kindness, and mutual respect, and I enjoy connecting with people who are thoughtful and easygoing. I’m independent and self-sufficient, but I truly enjoy shared experiences—whether that’s cooking together, swapping stories, or sitting quietly with a cup of coffee.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I’ve been a single parent for the past 16 years, and now that my kids are grown, I’m finally giving myself the space to travel and explore in a new way. This chapter feels like an opening—one where I get to meet new people, experience different places, and broaden my horizons.
Couchsurfing appeals to me because it’s rooted in human connection. I value shared conversations, mutual respect, and the kind of experiences that don’t come from guidebooks. One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

When my daughter was almost 3, we packed up and moved from Kansas to Oregon, camping along the way with no destination. We found a beautiful life in Oakridge, Oregon, however the itch to explore has made a come-back. So here I go.
