ABOUT ME

Hi, my name is Darcy. I have been travelling around Europe for the past three months. Back in Australia I had been working for two years post university. I have really enjoyed making some great relationships with people from Greece, Austria and Finland over this time spent travelling. In my spare time I play field hockey and many other activities, my new found passion is yoga. I really enjoy the connection between mind and body you experience when practicing. Currently living in Mount Waverly, about 30 mins from the city centre.

PHILOSOPHY

To give back to the community, and by community I mean anyone who is need of help, whether its helping an old person across the street or working at a local soup kitchen. Secondly to have a positive attitude on life and to share that positivity :).

Also to live a life of balance, between work, free time and family commitments.

Mostly through meeting people for coffee and heading out into city's exploring and sharing experiences and knowledge.

Interests

Talking with and having fun with intelligent and open people. Travelling both within Australia (mostly to the coast) and also overseas. Reading a great book. Going for a run. Listening to chilled music. Cooking a nice meal or dessert. Its the simple things :D

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Swimming in a nearly frozen lake in Austria.

Spending Greek Easter on the rooftop of the Hostel overlooking the parthenon (lamb on the spit was amazing).

Living two years in country Australia on my own after living in the city for 20 years.
