I am a young adult who loves traveling, exploring, adventuring, and learning. I just recently got a job as a 3rd grade teacher, but before I start this awesome new journey of my life, I am taking time to enjoy myself and travel the world as much as I can. I am not a partier, but prefer walks, coffee, books, movies, random activities and adventures, and learning about other people and other cultures.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Hosting: I cannot yet host, but as soon as I get back to the US I will!

Surfing: I believe this is a fantastic way to really get to know a city. Locals have such great perspectives and insights into the culture of a city. Plus meeting people is always eye opening and worth every minute.

Interests

My interests are wide and varied. But I'm a musician. I love to sing, play guitar, and about every other instrument I can get my hands on. I love hiking, being outdoors and in nature, and finding new adventures out there. I also love dancing and finding the rhythm of a new city. But most of all I love being spontaneous and finding new joys in the unknown.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music:
Right now I'm listening to Andy Grammer, Kings Kaleidoscope, NEEDTOBREATHE, Ben Rector, All Sons and Daughters, Hozier, Trevor Hall, Gavin DeGraw, and Mat Kearney.

Movies:
I watch all kinds of movies including children's movies, romantic comedies, and action movies. My favorite movie (or set of movies) by far is Harry Potter.

Books:
My favorite series is the Harry Potter series (I've read them all about 5 times now). But I also love children's book, since I am a teacher.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One thing I've done that is pretty amazing is being able to sing and play music with some incredibly talented musicians for thousands of people of people once a month. It's called Vespers and it's a worship night that I get to be apart of.

Teach, Learn, Share

These words mean a lot to me, as a teacher. I believe life is all about what you learn from the journey, the people you meet along the way that teach you more than you thought possible, and the ability to share culture, laughs, and life together with people of all walks of life.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share my love for music, my witty personality, and my knowledge about making some tasty food and great new recipes with hosts. I would also be able to share great information about where to go and what to see if my hosts were ever in the United States, and specifically Minneapolis.
