To travel around with my sister in Barcelona, Milan, Brussels, Amsterdam, and Paris during my fall break!

ABOUT ME

I'm a student at the University of Illinois, currently studying abroad for a semester in Aix-en-Provence, France. I love going to new places and simply soaking in the atmosphere and culture around me, not necessarily with a set itinerary. After I study abroad, I plan to spend a year back in Chicago writing my book of fiction, and then return to school to finish my degree in Gender Studies. I'm friendly, relaxed, and super flexible with planning.

PHILOSOPHY

I'm all about accepting other people's cultures, ideas and beliefs, and learning to coexist. I've learned over the years to challenge all of my preconceptions and keep my mind wide open. Equality in American society is very important to me, so I might go into activism later in life. I am not a religious person, but I am very spiritual, and I'm exploring yogic philosophy. I also believe that one of the most important forms of self-growth is learning to accept and love yourself.

Interests

I love to write, read, do yoga, and spend time in nature. I'm working on a novel. I also greatly enjoy feminist conversations, as well as learning about different people and hearing their stories.
