Overview
About Me
I'm a chef that's become a traveler. Learning to farm. I care deeply about food, community, and justice. Sociable, and equally comfortable with quiet. I'm very focused, driven, passionate about keeping things local and taking care of one another. QWOC. My girlfriend is a physicist who is currently on a post-doctoral assignment at a university in Jerusalem, so here we are, temporarily.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I’ve hosted a lot of visiting friends, and wondered - why not extend that to new friends: ones that I haven’t met yet?
Traveling the world can be extremely expensive, and it's bullshit that $$$ is a barrier to learning and exploring. Looking to find the same sort of people when I travel, as well.
