ABOUT ME

I'm easygoing and pun-loving (yeh maybe that isn't a word).

Years ago, i went on a student exchange to France and spent a semester in the beautifully picturesque port town of La Rochelle (a wonderful place, if you get a chance to go there you should if you ask me). The ancient towers, the cobbled streets, the hundreds of sailboats in its ports were a pretty big change from the crazy hustle and bustle of life in Sydney.
I met so many incredible people almost every day , it was like a really extended travelling experience except we were all living there, all these internationals. I loved it! Ever since, I've been craving travel, meeting new people, trying different languages (and foods) and chasing experiences i wouldn't find at home.

Now, i'm back to Europe. So far I've, done a short course in teaching english as a foreign language, travelled from Berlin to Budapest with some awesome people i met in a prague hostel, learnt that the little swiggly shape on some czech letters is called a ' hook', and discovered the secrets of making quiche and realised that its possible to have a 2 hour long conversation about the word ' capsicum' and the fact that no one outside of Australia seems to use it.

But its just the beginning... i don't know where life will take me next but I'm looking forward to the next chapter... i may meet you in it.

When i cannot host i like to meet up with CS'ers in my home town of Sydney. i love history and sharing it with others so i will bore you with interesting tales of the city. Stick with me and you will learn everything you never wanted to know about the city i call my home .

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

So since writing this i can now say that i have couch surfed... thank you Nick for hosting me as my first couch surfing experience in Brussels! it was awesome! if i cannot host ill meet up with you and show you the sights, sounds and tastes (we have amazing food and coffee) of Sydney.

Interests

Travel, road trips with an awesome playlist, reading, writing, theatre,history, acting, drinking lots of coffee at random cafes in random countries! Learning different languages. Love dinner parties with friends (or fascinating strangers), dancing, being silly, doing nothing with amazing people, laughing till you are on the floor crying and people are looking at you as if you are insane.

Music: This question is way too hard to answer! i always always have music playing when i am home alone. it's the best company aside from a dog.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Swimming with crazy ocean critters and Nemo lookalikes on the great barrier reef.

Teach, Learn, Share

Languages: i suppose, you could practice your English or French with an Australian accent with me . I could spout random historical facts at you if that sparks your interest or teach you the basics of salsa dancing or theatresports.
As for me? I'd love to learn spanish one day and improve in playing the guitar.
