About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Love the Lord my God with all my heart & soul, mind & strength; and love my neighbor as myself!
ABOUT ME
Four years ago, I felt the sudden urge to see the world and experience new adventures. I got a passport, visited San Luis Obispo, and never left.
Now, I am trying to travel more, and I'm finding that the most enjoyable experience I have when I travel is meeting new people. An ancient landmark is interesting for a moment, but when that moment is shared with others, it becomes something so much more.
I recently returned from a 36 day European adventure, where I made new friends and saw interesting places in England, Holland, France, and Italy. Since then, I have been visiting friends and family up and down California, and am planning to return to San Luis Obispo.
While I don't have an available couch, please let me know if you are in San Luis (or wherever I happen to be)! I would love to hang out.
PHILOSOPHY
I am a Christian, and I'd love to share the gospel with you if you're interested, but if you're not, I'll understand.
That said, I'm a very down to earth fellow with friends from many different walks of life, and I'm not quick to judge. Please show me the same respect.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Haven't had a chance to, but I'm looking forward to it.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Well, I have yet to use this couch surfing network, but I'd say I've got a good deal of experience:
For the past year I've been sleeping on a couch in my own apartment. I opted to save money on rent, and my roommates said, "Fine by us."
Before that, I've slept on friends' couches as I waited for leases to begin, as I traveled on road trips, mission trips, and potato chips.
It's gotten to the point where I often prefer a couch over a bed!
Interests
Writing; I have so many stories to tell, but time has a way of slipping by.
Photography; I used to be a professional, but now it's just for fun.
Movies; If we don't get too artsy, I can keep up with the best of them.
Travel; I love meeting new people.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I've driven a car, backward, off a cliff, and survived.
I've also saved a shark.
Teach, Learn, Share
I'm jealous of dogs. I don't like them so much, but they got the right spirit.
Two dogs see each other on the street. They can't wait to make friends. Two people on the street? They won't even say hello.
I used to think that this was a California thing, but as I travel, I realize that California may be friendlier than many other places! What a drag.
Personally, I want to greet strangers with a smile, not ignore them like they don't exist. I want to learn a lesson from the dogs.
