The greatest part of travelling to me is making connections with local people, places and culture. I am especially interested in seeing the "alternative" side of each city and not just the shiny tourist image.

I like a lot of different music from Brazilian bossa nova to punk rock, Bulgarian folk music to RnB.

I recently enjoyed reading JD Salinger, Samuel Beckett, Charles Bukowski, Virginia Woolf, Rainer Maria Rilke, Sartre, Bill Bryson and always looking for recommendations.

I am also a huge nerd for critique and sociological literature on history, politics and social justice.

Any documentary on the topic outer space is great.
