About Me
Update (2024)
Hi everyone, I moved back to Italy to finish my studies and I won’t be able to host people anymore. Sorry for all the messages I missed in the past few months :(
Hi! My name is Daria and I'm a psychology student, proud volunteer, and nature lover. I also work remotely at Cowork Timisoara, as a community leader and event organizer.
I am currently in Italy with an Erasmus + scholarship and I am looking forward to meeting new people. I would love to get some insights into the Italian culture and to get to know as many locals as possible.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I would really like to meet new people and learn about different cultures while traveling.
I travel a lot with my boyfriend and our goal is to create everlasting memories. We would like to have friends from all over the world and broaden our horizons.
Also, we would be able to show anyone our small home town (Lugoj) or Timisoara, the city where we currently study which is going to be European Capital in 2023:) If you are planning to visit in the summertime, we won't say no to a trip to Transylvania.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music:
At the moment, my favorite artist is Jack Savoretti. In general, I like to listen to music that inspires me. (Queen, Pink Floyd, Scorpions, Guns n'Roses, U2, Sting, and so on). I've been a Latin dancer so I must admit that I am in love with Latino rhythms (from Santana and Buena Vista Social Club to Celia Cruz)
Movies:
I like any kind of movie but horror.
Books:
My favorite ones are Pride and Prejudice, Gone with the wind and Little Women, but I also enjoy reading psychology books.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I dedicated my entire childhood and adolescence to my passion for dancesport.
Teach, Learn, Share
I want to get out of my comfort zone, practice speaking in English and French, and learn Italian and Spanish.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Delicious meals, tips & tricks about traveling in Romania, dancesport stories and dance lessons, a cozy couch, a big smile, and a warm hug (or more).
I will also take you to the best specialty coffee place in town:)
