About Me
I'm Russian student currently based in Germany doing a crazy exchange semester. My field of studies is Political Science.
I am crazy about the idea of exploring world, discovering new places and meeting people of all nationalities and cultures. And I strongly follow the idea of cosmopolitanism. Why?
I was born on Sakhalin island, a place, where Asian and Russian cultures coexist. For that reason used to live in a pretty diverse society with mixed nationalities and identities. There are many tourists in that area, because Sakhalin is a really mysterious place in the middle of nowhere. My parents followed CS-movement before it became a mainstream and welcomed many tourists from Vietnam, China, the USA, Japan and Korea. Exactly this background formed my current worldview.
Since the moment I got 18 I've started travelling on my own and in two years I discovered 9 new for me countries. And I never want to stop exploring :) Next aim is to visit 5 more countries until the end of my semester in Germany.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I just love the idea beyond CS: it feels awesome to share with someone else impressions, moments and places you enjoy :)
CS gives me a possibility to be an experienced local, who might show foreigners around and orient in secret fancy must-visit spots, as well as being unexperienced traveller and learning new places through the eyes and knowledge of locals.
That's the best you can do and experience, when you travel or just live in your city :)

Music, Movies, and Books
MUSIC: Strongly pretending to be a music lover and listening almost to every sort of music. Can't imagine a day without music on the background. Mostly fond of high-quality techno-music and Indi.
MOVIES: Pretty picky in this question. Love to watch complicated and tough movies with the deep meaning and space for reflecting beyond it. Also I like to watch some documentaries about ecology.
BOOKS: Reading mostly scientific psychological stuff. That helps me to understand people better and get along with them.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Don't have that many crazy things in mind, but my first travelling experience was quite crazy: I travelled to Germany with 80 bucks in my pocket without booked accommodation and in the end of my journey I had to sleep on the fucked up Berlin street :D
Teach, Learn, Share
I'm convinced you may teach me many things! I'm always opened to learn new stuff and get some unique skills.
What I Can Share with Hosts
There are huge variety of things we might do together! Cozy dinner together? Movie night? Crazy pub crawl and underground hangouts? I'm up for everything!
Any moment you want I'm happy to open a world of Russian cuisine and culture for you! Just let me know about it.
Surely I have much to share and discuss.
Can't wait to meet you!
