About Me

Hey folks!

My name is Daria, some friends call me Dar', some - Dariusha, some other - Dashushka. The most common short name for "Daria" is Dasha.
I was born in Voronezh but my mind and soul belong to the Universe. I've been trying to explore our magnifisant world since childhood and I'm happy that my family helps me a lot with that. Oh yeah, about the family - I have 2 sisters and a brother, and my parents live in a big house with 4 cats and 2 dogs. We are crazy guys to stand each other lol.
My bachelor's degree is related to the culture of foreign languages, translation and, most of it, teaching. My diploma was about teaching foreign speaking to preschoolers.

Despite being young, I've got a rich work experience. I used to work since I was 10 and to my 22 lead to heading the department of International Projects at one of the largest arts festivals in Russia - the International Platonov Arts Festival. Here it is http://en.platonovfest.com/, I highly reccommend everybody to come and see the city in June!

I like my life, I adore it. And I am very happy about the opportunity to share my experience and feeling with others.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Meeting different people from different countries, getting acquainted with representatives of different cultures broadens your mind, helps you become more tolerant and open-minded; what is more, it's a great thing to have friends all over the world! I know that it's quite difficult to find any sort of accommodation when you are on a tight budget, that's why I always welcome those who couch-serf. And I hope some day I will be welcomed as well :)
