Overview
About Me
Hi, my name is Daria, or Dasha for short
I'm 20 y. o. university senior from Lviv, Ukraine.
I'm a huge believer in spontaneity and all the best things happened to me unexpectedly, so that's basically my main excuse for doing everything at the last moment and not planning in advance (probably avoiding some responsibilities right now).
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm here to get to know the real people and the real life of the country, not the cookie-cutter pictures they put on travel brochures.
Also i would like to practice my german by communicating with native speakers, cause i feel that my uni methods don't suit me that much (yeah, let's blame the system).

Music, Movies, and Books
All kinds of indie, psychodelic/altenative rock, britpop, synth pop and so on.
I'm a huge fan of Gorillaz, like The Beatles, Oasis, Ben Howard, Lana Del Rey, Kilo Kish, White Lies.
The books that influenced me the most were 1984 by Orwell, Kurt Vonnegut's Cat's Craddle, Huxley's Brave New World (you can probably tell i'm kinda stanning dystopian novels), King's "Dreamcatcher" and "Shining"
Can't remember any movies at the moment, but as for tv shows i really like True Detective, Shameless, Twin Peaks, Peaky Blinders and Stranger Things.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you legit russian swears, ukrainian poems, a few cool Latin aphorisms, how to cook borsch and also some classical ballet pas. Can't play balalaika though.
Sharing my extremely profound and important opinion on things like life, politics, relationships, meaning of life and the whole existance itself 24/7.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Unfortunately, i'm living at the dorm, so i'm not able to host atm.
