About Me

Hi there, my name is Daria.
I am a graphic design student and a volunteer for different events, mostly for music and theater festivals.

Even though I could seem to be shy at first, I'm quite talkative and I adore meeting new people, sharing emotions, and learning something new from others. I have a lot of funny stories to tell myself because I'm that type of people that bizarre and hilarious things always happen to. Also I'm a good listener so if you want to share your emotions and stories, I will be happy to hear it all.

Unfortunately, I live with my roomate at the student dorm and this makes hosting impossible, but i can't wait to the moment when I'll be able to host people from over the world. Hopefully, it will be very soon.

But still I can be your guide for a day or more, if you are in Moscow for the first time!

'As often as possible be gentle and kind'.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

When I have just signed in and saw this question, the first thought I had was "what's important for me, as for a student, it helps to save money". But couchsurthing gives you much more than this.

It is the best way to get the unique experience of seeing a new country through the prism of a person living there. There is indeed a big difference between how you can see a city as a tourist and how you can see it as a local. And, of course, the second option is way more interesting.

Also, I'm always craving to learn somehing new about cultures, and couchsurfing is still one of the best options for that. To find friends all over the world and to be closer to it - who doesn't want it? It's a language practice, it's new amazing people in your life, it's thousands of amazing stories to hear (and to happen too!).

That's why I'm here.
