We are Daria and Egor, archeologists from Ekaterinburg, Russia. Every summer we make excavations or research expeditions in Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug (West Siberia), but our interests spread further to the ancient history of Europe, especially roman period and middle ages. Also we are really in love with Italy: its culture, language, food, and we want to know this beautiful country better.
If someone is running archeological research near your place and you know how to get in, we will be most eager to take part.
Apart from archaeology I like fitness and especially bellydance. Egor is fond of sound engeneering and myrmecology.
We are accustomed to the simple living conditions, because in summer always live in a tent in the woods.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

We want to have an opportunity to study a country and its people from the inside, not like mere tourists. Also we will be glad to help foreign visitors in Ekaterinburg with the information and place to stay.
