About Me
Hi,
I’m Daria from Poland but past few years I was living in China and I’m not sure how much Polish I am now 😉
I have a variety of interest, but top three is yoga (and everything related), art (dance and theatre in particular) and chinese (mostly art and culture).
Since I remember there was no word as boredom in my dictionary. There is always something interesting to do, if not, then improvise 😉 I’m active person, focused on self improvement, trying to experience life in its all aspects.
I love spending time with people, recently enjoying company of sweet 4-year old girl, who I take care of.
I do really enjoy sharing my knowledge with others, what I am doing on regular basis as chinese and yoga teacher.
I also like reading books and DIY (anything that involves creating is something I eagerly participate in).
When I was a kid, I wanted to speak all languages in the world to be able to communicate with people in their native language. My mum laughs that I started from the most difficult one. Now on my list there is Spanish and Korean to be learnt.
I love talking with people, I am both good talker and good listener. I think I’m also empathetic and positive (kind of “always bring your own sunshine with you”) person. Creative and not afraid of dancing in the summer rain.
I’m also pretty good at organizing some cultural or exchange events (already have some in my CV 😉.
July this year is the begginign of my one year trip (so far), which I called „roots in the backpack”. I decided to go for that journey as I feel life is something more than only sitting in front of the computer and I wish I know more about the world, other people and other cultures. The seed of this idea was in my head when I was living in China or maybe even earlier, when I read one of the polish poet’s work: „if clothes, have as many as you are able to pack into your suitcase”. Then I thought - what would happen and if I could manage to pack my things in one backpack and live like this traveling? Now, I feel that the time to try it has just arrived. What is more, this would be the last year there is number 2 in front of my age number 😉 so let’s say it will be the longest birthday gift 😉
If you want to know me better, don't hesitate to contact me 🙂
Love
Daria
