My name is Dasha, Dasha from Russia :)
I was born and raised in Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk (it is near Japan), when i was 17 y.o. I moved to Saint-Petersburg, the cultural capital of Russia to study. I graduated Philological faculty, so I am very keen on literature, languages and exploring different cultures. My major was Cross Cultural Communications and I hope I am good at it. Right now I work for the US Consulate in St Petersburg.
Being already a local here I still have this kind of a tourist attitude to this city. I am still very enthusiastic about its architecture, its cultural life, and of course about the night life. I am very familiar with main touristic attractions here and can be a good companion for the of-the-wall entertainment

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I consider couchsurfing to be a unique chance to meet locals, and get involved into a real life of the city, rather than being just another moping around tourist

Interests

Like the majority of couchsurfers I am very keen on travelling, meeting people representing different countries and cultures, learning languages, exploring the world. I have been in many European countries, but my heart belongs to SE Asia.
I am a big sport fan. I like working out, playing beach volley, I train with the running sport club, and I do my best to surf (I am horrible surfer)
