Overview
About Me
I am a 28-year-old entrepreneur, content creator and cultural researcher from Saint Petersburg (Russia) currently living in South America. Have a great passion for art, history and culture.
I am also an independent researcher, interested in issues of identity, popular culture and Fandom Studies (I have recently led a research conference on the subject, ask me about it!). I love talking about society, psychology, and geek culture (do you like Star Wars or Happy Potter? I am the person to talk to!) as well as classical art and history.
An easy-going, well-mannered, tidy, considerate and very sociable person. Never get tired of engaging in conversations.

Perpetually surprised and delighted by life in all its randomness, unpredictability and chaotic beauty.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I believe in a world without borders and cultural exchange, therefore I am tentatively figuring my way back into the Couchsurfing community (had some really nice experiences back in 2016, but had a long break afterwards).
I have travelled quite a lot, but mostly in a conventional (hotels/Airbnbs) way. It feels like it's time to shift the perspectives and try a more immersive approach by connecting with locals once again.
The main agenda for using Couchsurfing is to learn about different cultures, share my knowledge and outlook and meet amazing people from all over the world with whom we share values.
Interests
I am passionate about the power of storytelling in all its forms. Have a special hang for RPGs and LARPs, immersive experiences.
I like board games, but if I have a chance to dress up and go gallivanting, I'd definitely opt for the latter.
