About Me
Hi! My name is Daria or Dasha. I am from a Russian city called Yekaterinburg. Currently, I am living in the United States. My biggest journey began in 2015 when I was awarded the Fulbright scholarship to study in the US. In the last two years, I've visited 12 states and had about 70 flights. Perhaps, I met more than hundred people from around the world, and I can say without a doubt I love meeting new people.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I like traveling. But the main thing in visiting new places is a chance to get to know new people. Meeting new people gives much more than just sightseeing.
Interests
Confidently I would say that everything is interesting to me. I really like studying biomedical engineering (it is my major) and sciences in general but when I have free time I do oil painting, photo, and art applique. I like backcountry hiking, seeing nature, and I enjoy snowboarding in winter.
