ABOUT ME

Cecile and I (Marta) happen to teach at UIC in Chicago this year. This is how we met. I teach German and Cecile teaches French. My boyfriend Martin joined us for a while and is now back in Germany. We will travel all together during Springbreak. We really enjoy learning about each other's cultures and languages. We plan on visiting each other (in Germany, Poland and Reunion Island) and travelling as much as we can while we are in the US.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We participate by offering a couch and trying to spread the couchsurfing's spirit : solidarity, friendship and open minds!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Cecile couchsurfed last year for a ten days road trip in California with two other friends from France, she met really great people and said it was the best way to discover new places and new people.
So Martin and I cant wait to couchsurf too.

Interests

We are interested in everything : art, literature, history,music... We love cooking, partying, enjoying life with a good glass of red wine! We also like sports (surf,dance,yoga,soccer), hiking, camping.
