About Me

Hi! I`m a digital nomad and an artist. I work remotely and I`ve been traveling mostly around EU since 2012.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I`m happy to discover new places and meet people via CS. I believe this is one of the best ways to travel and get to know the world.

Interests

I`m into yoga for many years. I`m interested in architecture, urbanistics, psychology, sociology etc. I like hiking and walked Camino de Santiago a couple of times. I volunteered with Workaway and found it great. Also I`m an urban explorer and by now I visited over a hundred abandoned buildings everywhere I`ve been.

Music, Movies, and Books

I do not have favorite genres of movies and books - probably I pick them haphazardly, enjoy and study how they work. One of my recent discoveries is the fantastically beautiful Cosmic Front series.

Among books I was impressed by Don Quixote by Miguel de Cervantes who brilliantly captured human nature and seemingly predicted invention of virtual reality headsets more than 400 years ago :) Harry Potter and Methods of Rationality was a great fun.

My playlist is full of everything, mostly electronic music, mantras, classics and some metal.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I was both a pilgrim and a hospitalera on Camino de Santiago several years ago. It was a beautiful experience - to stop walking and still be a part of it - hosting people, cooking for them and making them feel welcome. It was great to say Buen Camino and stay every morning (if you walked it you can imagine). It felt like lighting the beacon for all the travellers and making the journey itself.

Teach, Learn, Share

I cook simple vegetarian food with pleasure. I`m glad to share experience and yoga practice. I`d learn more about art and photography.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Good tea, good stories.
