Music: post-punk, psychedelic rock, shoegaze and many bands that go with the tag "experimental"
Swans, Einstürzende Neubauten, Sonic Youth, The Brian Jonestown Massacre end Tuxedomoon are my absolutely favorites.
As for cinema, I prefer 60s-70s-80s movies: Fellini's, Truffaut's, Malles', Herzog's etc. I also like independent american films
