I'm on the road now - travelling throughout Brazil, volunteering, learning about my country and bonding with people.

You can call me Dari.

Well, I grew up in Manaus-Amazonas and I'd be really glad to give some tips or talk about this beautiful place. I moved to Florianópolis a few months ago and I'm also learning about the city, so it'd be amazing to share that with you. Currently, I work as an English teacher and work from home (or anywhere hahaha). My next destination is Southeast Asia in 2023.

in 2014, I had a chance to go to Germany for an exchange program for 2 years - this is when I fell in love with people, experiences, adventure, and travelling. I always try to dedicate time to spend time with guests - visiting the city, having meals together and so on. Plus, I love cooking and tasting food from other countries/cities, having long conversations, and drinking some beer (or coffee) haha

We become part of each other or the city when we connect with people like that. I've been looking for cultural immersion everywhere I go.

音乐、电影和书籍

My favorite band is Pink Floyd. It's possible to say that I love Progressive Rock and MPB (Brazilian Popular Music), but I also like different kinds. Since I've been traveling I opened my mind to a lot of stuff. Maybe in a day depending my mood I can listen to pop or something else. I also love when people suggests me books, TV series and movies to watch. I cannot say movies are my "thing", but I watch them once in a while. I'd say I'd rather reading than watching things nowadays.

I could take something about my country and I could explain the truth about the cliches about Brazil! I also can cook, not as a mom, but it'd be fun to cook something together, to hang out. But if you're more quiet, I can also be quiet, that's not a problem for me.
