Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I want to see as much as possible of this world and meet as many people as possible. But I absolutely love to have visitors and I absolutely loved hosting people in my charming little shared house. At the moment I am moving a lot, so I don't even have my own place to stay but in the next one I will see what is possible to welcome people again.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've been hosted by wonderful people during my trip from Germany to Valencia. City tours, long talks, game nights and pub crawls included which is definitely more than what you would get in a five star hotel!! I also loved having all different kinds of people at my place and to show them my favorite spots.

Interests

I am absolutely mad about opera and singing. I also practise singing a lot, maybe not to my housemate's benefit. Also I am very interested in all kinds of art, so if I visit a city I will drag everybody to every museum I can find. I am also keen on relaxed nights around the bonfire, and I definitely wouldn't reject a pint of beer :)

Music, Movies, and Books

I did the local student cinema, and we were trying to show as few blockbusters as possible, but movies we liked and of whom we thought, that the world should get to know. Also I like opera and classical music, but also I love all this old stuff like Genesis, Supertramp, The Police, The Doors and much more!!
In terms of books, I love everything that is a bit weird, like Terry Pratchett, Michael Ende, Walter Moers, etc.

Teach, Learn, Share

I hope I can mediate what I love about classical music and opera. But I might also be a good and very patient teacher and I can teach you some German if you like. In return I would love to improve my language skills or even learn a new language.
Also, I know how to knit and to crochet and I can make cool things out of playdough.

What I Can Share with Hosts

If you have a kitchen, be shure that I will prepare you a meal or a cake in return :) Also I have useless talents, like imitating a pigeon and to make knots with my mouth, if you find that entertaining.
