I am currently finishing my Master degree of Artistic and Museological studies at the University of Porto, Portugal. I live with my boyfriend who's photos I have included in my profile pictures. His name is Tiago and he is a Mechanical Engineering student. He is a committed guitar player and a cinema enthusiast. I'm very interested in History and Cultural Studies. Over the past few years I have become increasingly interested in feminist studies and in human rights. My Master thesis is on the subject of Outsider Art. I write for the University Journal of Porto. I really enjoy traveling, for me it always is a mixture of Museum visiting (duh, my Master degree) and acquaintance with local culture and community. Even though I prefer to visit places for an extended period of time and try to participate in every day life, I also very much enjoy short trips.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have been hosted by a family during my exchange year at Pickerington High School, Ohio. Without them and my High School teachers my stay there would not have been possible. Since I have been a Couchsurfing member I was hosted in Paris with my friend and in Prague with my boyfriend. Both were great experiences.

My grandparents had hosted a refugee family from Ukraine and my friends from my native town (Tiraspol) have hosted people from France, Germany and England.
