Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I’m just about to make my first trip out of Australia, and I know that my trip will be most worthwhile if I can connect with other people while I’m travelling.

My favourite music is generally metal, prog, or post-rock. Favourite bands include Insomnium and Swallow The Sun (both Finnish), Agalloch (USA), and Ne Obliviscarus (‘Straya).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The most rewarding thing I’ve done is working and volunteering at a charity in Canberra, AU where I had the opportunity to use my engineering degree for designing and building customised equipment for people with disabilities.
The “coolest” thing I’ve done is working in the commentary box at the Cricket World Cup when it was in Aus. Casually hanging out in the box with some of the world’s greatest cricket players was a pretty unique experience.
