I am a 26-year-old Ukrainian currently living in Kiev. Like everybody on CS, I am mad about travelling, and it is not only going to other countries but exploring the native one too. My first trip was a bus tour to France at the age of 15, and since then, travelling is the best kind of entertainment and personal growth for me. Getting to know other cultures is a precious experience which brings unforgettable memories.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I am a new member of the couchsurfing community, still I hosted a lot of people from Ukraine staying in Odessa for a couple of days before registering on this website. So the idea of hosting people is not new to me. I always try to find a place for my guest even when my rented appartment is very small (very often do I change them so they may vary). As for being hosted, couchsurfing gives the perfect insight into a culture that no hotel or hostel is able to give. Being a guest, it is the best way to get to know people living in other cities and to make new friends.

I am obsessed with cinema! I am now exploring the 60's so I watch the masterpieces of this period. My latest favourites are "Breathless" and "Blowup". Reading is also a huge part of my leisure time - "Rosemary's Baby" is what I have recently read, it is amazing!
