I am working as a freelance-editor in the publishing house and as a cultural journalist. I am fond of music and I am a people's person. It is easy for me to find a common language with others.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I think that understanding another culture is much deeper if it happens through communication with locals. To experience a new city without meeting people seems to me one-dimensional experience. So I would like to converse with people in the countries I am visiting and who happens to visit Ukraine.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: techno, house, academical music of 20th century, The Doors, Pink Floyd, Morphine, Massive Attack, the Cure, Death Grips.
Books: it is hard to have a diploma in Theory of Literature and still have favorite writers, but among others I can recall Proust, Beckett, Pelevin, French writers of 19th century.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach how to play vargan (jaw harp) or piano. I will be happy to know how to play guitar.
