My name is Darina, I'm a 24 year old physiotherapist from Hungary. I study medicine. I was born in Pécs but I lived 4 years in the capital of Hungary, in Budapest. In my freetime I like to read - especially books related to psychology - listen to music - I prefer psychedelic rock and techno - and take long walks since I don't have a drivers license.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

After graduation I decided to travel around the world. Since I am young and want to meet new people from different cultures, I decided I'll try couchsurfing. I’d like to visit places while I have the opportunity to get to know how local people live their lives.

Music: Pink Floyd, Deva, Tame impala, KAS:ST
Movies: Can't name one in particular but I really liked Perfect days (Wim Wenders - 2023) because it got me thinking about how capitalism affects my life. Also I like Tarkovsky’s movies, especially Solaris.
Books: Can't name any.

I'd like to teach people about the Hungarian culture. It is quite rich and - in my opinion - underrated.
I wanna learn more about how people from different countries see the world. I’d like to hear their opinion on life in general.

Well, I’ve had my ups and downs in life that affected my personality so I would gladly share my personal growth with you and ofc would gladly listen to yours. :) I like to cook in my freetime and I could prepare some Hungarian dishes for you.
