My name is Darina, I grew up in Czech Republic, and I finished here bachelor degree. But I am a half Russian (my dad leave Russia when I was small) so I travel to Russia very often. I Also live there for a 3 years and I got my master degree there. I love traveling and meet new people all over the world. I also live in US for a 3 months, but my English is still not good enough, and I want to do something with this. My hobbies are sports (volleyball, hiking, swimming, skiing and running sometimes), painting and I really love cooking.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Now I plan my trip to improve my English. Probably I'll fly to NY again, because I like this city so much and people there. I want to improve my English MOSTLY WITH PEOPLE or in some language classes or coworking spaces, because I work from home. That's why I like US, because there is people from all over the world and from different cultures and it makes this place really interesting and special.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

When I was 18 I traveled to different country alone. I didn't know language, I flew for the first time, I didn't know people. I just knew that people with who I was are friends of my dad, so I knew I am safe. It was the hardest but the best step in my life.
