Hey there, couchsurfer! Please read important information about my home, my friend and I are living in a friendly apartment in Vienna where we appreciate personal space and freedom, but there are rules we have to follow, therefore no pets and no parties allowed :)

I believe couchsurfing (like many other things in life) works as a boomerang! I was 18 years old at my first visit to Vienna, I couchsurfed here and now life brought me to living here (which I am still amazed by), so I am happily trying to give back! I also believe that kind gestures do need a reason or explanation, and if there is anything I can do I am happy to help.

Hey there, I'm Dari, 25 y.o., born in Siberia, and Austria is my Number 7 country of residence which cost me my mental health but also gave me tonnes of awesome experiences! I lost myself many times, but of course I also visited beautiful places, met hundreds amazing people, and lived through all the ups and downs of being an alien in a new place. More than 7 years ago I opened Couchsurfing, and found out that there are so many people thriving to see the world just like me! This is truly inspiring! I love travelling more than anything else, but also trying to reduce the carbon trace by not going anywhere out of my institute except vacation destinations. I also try to cycle, walk and hike as much as possible, love every single step I make on my own! 🌱

Studies and research take the most of my daily life which I truly enjoy and adore, thus it leads me to some random passions instead of long-term hobbies. Hiking and cycling are must in my life, but I also like watching fashion shows and tennis, which I do occasionally. I love making videos about my trips, draw and write poems, but I never get time for anything so I ended up with laundry and groceries being my only permanent hobbies. I also really love trying new things, this year was lucky to play golf and paint with oil for the first time and hopefully will get to paragliding or surfing in the nearest future! I never stop setting new goals and challenge myself, I believe life goes fast so take it all while you can!

Time for some (not)amusing facts:
- Pls do not request hangouts, I love the lab more than people and I hang out only abroad
- Me and mo housemate both wake up at 06 a.m. to go to work, so it can get noisy at this period of time
- I love hiking so much please all hikers come to my house!

Passionate about natural sciences, I'm doing my Ph.D (damn it is not easy). Very excited to learn languages, currently more focused on Italian and Danish but always happy to learn some phrases from locals in any language!
I can teach people how to make pictures, tell some science stories and I also I am known for ironing clothes perfectly so I even gave classes to some of my friends lol. If I have time we can go hiking on the weekend!
