ABOUT ME

33yr old male, who has a real appreciation for life right now. Born and raised in New Orleans - I spent some time living in NYC, Boston, White Plains, SF Bay Area...but home is NOLA, and my soul will never be anywhere else. I enjoy hanging at home with my best buddy CALCI(my cat), listening to music(earbuds in all day/night), going to the gym, running(new), being with friends, running around the neighborhood, having a good laugh or just lounging on the couch talking about life. not much of a tv watcher - so not in tune with the latest shows/movies - but if that excites you - awesome. I generally feed off of others' energy - so stay positive and upbeat and it's likely we will get along. Small part of my life, is that i'm a gay male. If that has a negative impact on your visit, no problem; I hope you enjoy my city from someone else's couch! :)

PHILOSOPHY

I feel I was put here on earth to do something - exactly what that is, I'm still trying to figure out.
I believe that you create your own destiny - yet at times, I feel that I am being pulled in a direction out of my control - often this aggravates me - but it follows my initial belief that I was placed here to do something. So those conflicts are constantly battling in my head - but in the meantime - I smile, am nice to people, will do whatever I can for my friends and loved ones, and give back as much as possible. It will all end up how its supposed to in the end - and if I keep moving forward with my head held high, than I can feel like i HAVE contributed to the end (even though it might just be predestined). ha.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

So - I'm down to host. Am happy to show ppl around town, but that is easier for me on weekends, since I work until 6p during the week. If you are in my city and want to do things on your own - that's awesome...and would be easiest...happy to give recommendations or just listen to all the exciting things you've discovered.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

So i've never actually couchsurfed - i've heard about it for years, and have only signed up because i'm interested in utilizing it when i head to europe before 10/2015. what better way to get, than to give as well - so here i am!

love most music - more remix, dance, house, edm, the kind of music you hear at the dance clubs. i can get away with most music tho - country has a soft spot in my heart bc its emotional and passionate...so while i dont listen to it often...its tolerable bc it hits a spot - love new orleans rap/bounce/etc...

amazing to me - probably the most amazing place in the world for me is ocean beach in san francisco...its my safe place - when i am emotionally down...i think of this place and i get picked back up...
