Born in West Auckland, New Zealand. My favourite things are reading and writing, playing music, rugby, and a day at the beach. Currently studying creative writing at Auckland University, and bar-tending to pay the bills. I love a good yarn (talk) and am partial to a beer or two. Family is from Scotland and Italy.
Favourite country I've visited so far is South Korea, because of the lights and the amazing locals.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Joined Couchsurfing because making new friends has always been the highlight of every trip. Hoping to gain some local knowledge and learn about people from different cities. I'm an avid reader/writer.
Trying to see the world and hear people's stories along the way.

Interests

I write film reviews for my school magazine and run a review-blog. I'm always halfway through writing a science-fiction novel. Played touch-rugby and 15's for the past five years (winger). Been to two Rugby world cups and am a die-hard fan of the Auckland Blues! I play guitar and bass, and like to mess around on drums whenever I can. Love camping, hiking and exploring.

Leaned out of the door of a helicopter while it flew through a valley.
Quit smoking 11.5 months ago.

Teach, Learn, Share

I love to talk science and am always looking to watch movies I've never heard of. I've taught several people to play guitar and not one of them has quit. I love local history, teach me about your city.
My favourite hobby of all is learning! All knowledge is good knowledge to me.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can cook (a little) I've had a few interesting jobs before ending up where I am now. I love to hear people's stories and shape my own writing with real people. I know about 8,000 terrible jokes. I have above-average furniture moving abilities.
