About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Saving the pennies to move to Germany and explore the history!
ABOUT ME
We're a pretty laid back, open minded, married couple from Canada. We love to travel and just returned from a two year journey of Europe in Jan 2011.
We aren't big party people, but we do enjoy going out for pints. We like to watch movies, drink wine, go out for coffee and love a good conversation. We also walk a lot.
We love to learn and are very interested in other cultures, ways of life, customs, history and especially language.
We also enjoy all kinds of music and food. We ADORE cooking and would enjoy learning how to make different cultural dishes from anyone who is willing to teach us.

PHILOSOPHY
Do unto others as they would do unto you [The several variations of this rule that exists to everyone.]
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
We like to help out via forums, share our experiences with the unique dilemma's that moving to another country can bring. [We've done so in the UK, France, Sarajevo and Bulgaria]
We've hitchhiked throughout Canada multiple times and depended heavily on the kindness of others, whether it be rides, housing or food, before CS was around.
We are all for helping to build a community like CS that makes it not only easier but safer for people to expand their surroundings.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
We've hosted CS'ers in both Canada and the UK from Toulouse to Winnipeg and will continue the tradition wherever we call home.
We've couchsurfed all over Europe and have found lasting friends through the experience. Dziękuję!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
We've milked goats in Bulgaria, given historical tours of Sarajevo, hitchhiked across Canada several times, lived in a small Italian village, drank nothing but coffee and wrote for two months in Paris, sang in a Scottish prog-rock band, visited Gdansk (start of WWI and end of Communism).. All these things and more have been too amazing to single out as one event.
They are who we are now. And the adventure continues ;)
Teach, Learn, Share
We can teach you guitar, how to record your music using Garageband and Logic Pro [OSX], image manipulation and graphic design in Photoshop and Illustrator, layout in InDesign and Quark, cook Indian & Italian/ Canadian food, how to paint, draw, and create arts & crafts.
