About Me

ABOUT ME

I'm an active person, always trying to do different things and learn new stuff.
Currently in Budapest.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I enjoy meeting new people, new places and cultures, and I would like to get foreigners to know my country. I would also like to practice my english (and help other people practice their spanish too!). / Disfuto mucho de conocer otras personas, otros lugares y otras culturas, y quiero ayudar a que personas de todas partes conozcan mi país. También quiero aprovechar para practicar mi inglés (y ayudar a que otras personas practiquen su español!)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

For now, I have only hosted, and it's been great.

Interests

Travelling (of course), movies, phislosophy, History, politics... and many more. / Viajar (¡claro!), me gusta mucho el cine, la filosofía, la historia, la política... y muchos más.

Music, Movies, and Books

Me gustan las películas que te hacen pensar, pero sin llegar a ser pretenciosas / I like intelligent movies, provided that they are not too pretentious.
Books: I enjoy science fiction most of all, and a little bit of fantasy literature.
Música: preferentemente rock n'roll

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Some years ago I was invited to see the control centre of the Atlas Project in Geneva's CERN, where they recently discovered the Higgs Boson (aka "God's Particle"). I did the Salkantay Trek in Peru and got caught in a snow storm. I tried to climb the Huayna Potosí Mountain in Bolivia (and failed!). I visited Crimea under sanctions and Yakutsk, the coldest city on earth!

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm a bit of a History buff, so I love to talk about the past of my country and South America. I am also very familiar with the architecture of the Centro and Ciudad Vieja neighborhoods of Montevideo, which is very peculiar, and I love going on tours and show the most interesting buildings to other people. I have also studied a bit of philosophy, and I love to talk about that as well.

Countries I’ve Visited

Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Czech Republic, Denmark, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Paraguay, Peru, Portugal, Russian Federation, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, United Kingdom, United States

Countries I’ve Lived In

Hungary, Uruguay
